A port estate is really several buying patterns on one site: a
24/7 operational workforce, a maintenance workshop, and contractors
coming and going. TES supplies all three.
Hi-vis and all-weather workwear
Hi-vis to EN ISO 20471, waterproofs and thermal layers for
open quayside work in winter, branded to order in our own
facility. Quayside weather exposure is closer to marine than to
construction, and the garments should be too.
Impact and cut protection
Gloves rated to EN 388 for handling steel, wire, lashing
gear and containers, and Rockfall and Roots safety footwear to
EN ISO 20345 with the grip and toe protection quayside surfaces
need.
Head, eye and hearing protection
Safety helmets, Bollé and Uvex eye protection and hearing
protection for work around continuously running plant. Issued
as a matched set rather than assembled from three different
purchase orders.
Maintenance tooling
Bahco, Knipex, Facom and Stanley hand tools; DeWalt,
Makita, Milwaukee and Bosch power tools for terminal
engineering and plant maintenance teams, plus Bott workshop
storage and benching.
Corrosion control and lubricants
Fuchs lubricants and WD-40 for equipment that lives in salt
air, plus Jubilee hose clips and ABUS padlocks and site
security. Small-value lines that stop a big-value machine when
they run out.
Consumables, welfare and hygiene
Abrasives, tapes, sealants, marking products, welfare and
hygiene supplies including SC Johnson professional ranges,
supplied on call-off so a 24-hour operation is not waiting on a
purchase order.
