Workshop design & installation

TES helps you turn under-used space into a safe, efficient workshop. From first layout sketches through to installed storage, benches and tooling, we work alongside your team to create a workshop that supports the way you actually work.

We combine practical, on-site experience with access to market-leading storage and workstation systems, so you get a design that looks after people, tools and stock in equal measure.

Typical workshop projects

  • New-build workshops and service bays.
  • Refits of existing maintenance and engineering areas.
  • Point-of-use storage for tools, consumables and PPE.

Why use TES for workshop design & installation?

Designed around how you work

We start with the jobs your teams do every day – then plan storage, benches and access routes to support safe, efficient workflows.

Market-leading storage and benches

TES works with leading workshop storage and workstation brands to specify cabinets, drawer systems and benches that will stand up to real-world use.

Full project support

From initial concepts and layout options through to final installation, you have a single TES contact helping to keep the project on track.

Clear visual layouts

Where useful we can provide clear layout drawings to help you visualise proposed arrangements and sign off with internal stakeholders.

Safer, tidier workspaces

Well-planned storage, defined walkways and point-of-use locations all contribute to tidier workshops and reduced handling risk.

Joined up with your supply

Storage plans can be aligned with the PPE, tools and consumables you already buy from TES, simplifying stock management once the workshop is live.

Storage solutions built around your kit

Every workshop is different. We look at the tools, spares and consumables you handle, then recommend storage that keeps the right items close to where they are used.

  • Drawer cabinets for high-value tools and components.
  • Modular systems that can grow with your operation.
  • Point-of-use storage at workstations to reduce walking and wasted motion.
  • Clearly labelled locations to support faster picking and better stock control.

Designed for visibility and control

Good workshop layouts make it easy to see what tools and consumables are on hand. TES can help you introduce simple systems that make shortages and misplaced items less likely.

How a typical TES workshop project runs

We follow a straightforward process from first conversation through to a working, signed-off workshop.

1. Site visit and brief

We visit site to understand how the space is used today, take measurements and discuss objectives, constraints and any standards you need to meet.

2. Layout options and specification

TES develops layout options, recommends storage and benches, and agrees a final specification, budget and timeline with your team.

3. Installation and handover

We coordinate delivery and installation of equipment, then walk the finished workshop with you to make sure everything is set up as planned.
